Xbox Live’s Gold subscription service is being unlocked for all to enjoy over the course of this weekend. That’s right, from March 8th to March 10th you’ll be able to take all your games online and enjoy all the treats and services that your Gold purchasing cousins are currently enjoying, for free. To access the promotion, simply fire up Xbox Live and you’ll find the promotion front and centre. You can’t miss it.
Current subscribers, fear not, because Microsoft are throwing in Double XP sessions on the likes of Far Cry 3 and the chance to challenge developers like Rockstar in Max Payne 3′s multiplayer modes. 2K are even throwing in a one-use code (below) for Borderlands 2 so you can help yourself to some rare weapons.
