Internet super sleuths have unearthed what could be the release dates for the next two Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 DLC packs.Ā MP1st.comĀ picked up on a YouTube post (video below) byĀ TWinnSANE, which claims to have found the details lying in the code for Call of Duty: Eliteās website.Ā If true, you can expect the two new expansions on July 2nd and August 27th.
Adding further weight to the find is the fact that both dates fall on a Tuesday when Xbox Live is traditionally updated with new content. The first of Black Ops 2ā²s four scheduled map packs āĀ RevolutionĀ (which 360 users canĀ play for free this weekend)Ā andĀ UprisingĀ ā both landed on a Tuesday as well.
Itās only a rumour so far, but weāve fired off a mail to ask Activision to clarify the situation. Weāll update the story accordingly, if and when we hear back.

Yup,Ā according to VG247Ā the online payment empire told Lab Zero Games that they werenāt prepared to offer any potential refunds to IndieGoGo backers of extra Skullgirls content. Basically, the majority of folk donating money use PayPal ā a whopping $700,000 of $829,000 ā and in anĀ unprecedented move told the developers that they were withholding the cash until they could reach an agreement on refund ā PayPal arguing they shouldnāt have to pay out.

Continue ReadingThe first of two Gears of War: Judgment add-ons, Call to Arms, arrives today on Xbox Live for anyone who purchased the VIP Season Pass. The DLC will be available for download to everyone else (i.e. those without the VIP Pass) on 30 April, priced 1000MSP (Ā£8.57/ā¬12/$12.50).
Announced last week, Call to Arms provides three new multiplayer maps, a new multiplayer mode, armour and gun skins to customise characters and weapons, and 10 new Achievements worth 250 Gamerscore points. You can find fullĀ details and images of each of the new maps here.
