Gearbox are rolling out loads of new fantasy themed heads

Gearbox Software are continuing to bring the DLC noise for Borderlands 2 via a selection of brand-new heads for the Vault Hunter cast. Weā€™ve collated all of the current heads that are inspired byĀ Tiny Tinaā€™s Assault on Dragon Keep DLCĀ below.

There are two more to come ā€“ one today (17th August) and another tomorrow (18th August) ā€“ so either check theĀ Gearbox Software Community SiteĀ or come back here and weā€™ll update the page accordingly. Hereā€™s your lotā€¦

Payday 2 DLC

DLcentral.co.uk finds out: Five packs planned, updates will include free content

Developer Overkill Software has pledged its on-going support for the recently released mask-wearing money-grabber, Payday 2. The studioā€™s Game Director, David Goldfarb,Ā told JoystiqĀ there are ā€œFive DLCs planned together with [publisher] 505 Games for the coming year,ā€ and that updates would be a mix of paid and free content.

One possible update for Payday 2 could be the addition of a non-male crew member, with Goldfarb tellingĀ OXM in an interviewĀ that ā€œone of the first things I have on my list, is to make sure we get a female character.Ā Iā€™m hoping ā€“ I donā€™t know if weā€™ll get it as our first DLC, because weā€™d have to redo all the animations so it doesnā€™t look like a dude walking around with a female bodyā€¦ But Iā€™d like to do that.ā€

Injustice: Gods Among Us DLC is always surrounded by lively speculation, fevered anticipation, and consistently divides opinion amongst its players and fan-base. Trio of shots offer a better look at the upcoming Champions Bundle suits

A trio of new shots from the upcoming Halo 4 Champions Bundle DLC have been released, offering a better look at three of the new armour sets contained in the bundle. Two are from the Infinity Armor Pack (worth noting that a third Classic Halo armor included in the pack isnā€™t pictured here), while the Ricochet Armor is part of the Bullseye Pack. The Infinity Armor Pack and Bullseye Pack are set to release 20 August, priced 240MSP (Ā£2.06/ā‚¬2.88/$3.00), and 480MSP (Ā£4.11/ā‚¬5.76/$6.00) respectively. Alternatively, both add-ons will be available as part of the Halo 4 Champions Bundle, which launches on the same day, priced 800MSP (Ā£6.85/ā‚¬9.60/$10.00), and also includes the Steel Skin Pack, which offers 10 new weapon skins.

Cheerleader and Hot Getaway packs for female fighters appear on Xbox Live

If you like to keep your Dead or Alive 5 female fighters with a well-stocked wardrobe, youā€™ll be pleased to know thereā€™s a new delivery of DLC outfits ready to download now from Xbox Live. There are two themes on offer ā€“ Cheerleader and Hot Getaway (i.e. beachwear).

The cheerleader uniforms are available either individually for 80MSP (Ā£0.69/ā‚¬0.96/$1.00), or as a complete set for 720MSP (Ā£6.17/ā‚¬8.64/$9.00), while the bikinis are bundled in packs of three for 400MSP (Ā£3.43/ā‚¬4.80/$5.00), or all together in a single collection for 1040MSP (Ā£8.91/ā‚¬12.48/$13.00).

You can get cheerleader outfits for the following fighters: Hitomi, Kokoro, Leifang, Helena, Ayane, Lisa, Kasumi, Christie, Mila, and Tina.

Forza Horizon: Rally Pack DLC Review

Arcade racer takes a hard right into uncharted territory

The open-world freedom of the excellent Forza Horizon takes a more linear route with this rally expansion. Instead of screeching through traffic in one of the many hot rides across a beautiful Colorado, youā€™re funneled down dirt tracks with a co-driver barking out instructions.

Thereā€™s a whiff of the Colin McRaeā€™s about it, which is unsurprising seeing as a few of the developers worked on the series before heading to Playground Games. The arcade smooth controls are fully intact, but the difference between topping the podium and watching on with tears in your eyes will require excellent reflexes. Or, yā€™know, an overuse of the rewind function.

Your mission is straightforward enough ā€“ gain enough points from the individual rally events to grab your place in the final. There are five new cars to bomb about in that will keep rally purists happy including the 1992 Ford Escort Cosworth and the ā€˜Group …

Borderlands 2 Psycho skin pack DLC hits Xbox 360 ā€“ new Krieg body parts

UPDATE #2: All nine of the new customization packs are now available on Xbox Live ā€“ check the download links below.

UPDATE #1: 2K has announced there are actually no fewer than NINE new skin packs being released today, with four for Krieg, and one each forĀ Axton the Commando, Maya the Siren, Salvador the Gunzerker, Zer0 the Assassin and Gaige the Mechromancer. The packs are all available to download now from theĀ PlayStation NetworkĀ (US only ā€“ PS3 players in Europe will have to wait until 10 July). At the time of writing, there are still only the three Krieg packs featured below appearing onĀ Xbox Live, but the rest should appear throughout the day.

Injustice: Gods Among Us new DLC skin reveal is Blackest Night Aquaman

Here it is ā€“ the penultimate new Injustice: Gods Among Us skin to be revealed this weekā€¦ and itā€™s Aquaman sporting a look based on the Blackest Night comic crossover. The slightly off-colour King of Atlantis will be available as part of Blackest Night Pack 2, which will be released next week, 2 July, alongside new characterĀ General Zod, and Supermanā€™s ā€˜Man of Steelā€™ costume. If the Blackest Night Pack 2 is priced in line with previous skin packs, then itā€™ll cost 240MSP (Ā£2.06/ā‚¬2.88/$3.00) on Xbox Live, and Ā£2.39/$2.99 on PlayStation Network.

We donā€™t know who will be joining Aquaman in the Blackest Night Pack 2, but we wouldnā€™t be at all surprised if Green Lantern was to put in an appearance. TheĀ first Blackest Night Pack, which arrived alongside Scorpion, contained Superman, Doomsday, and The Flash.
