Capcom RPG arrives on US PlayStation Network, contains original game, DLC, all-new content

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen arrives today on the US PlayStation Network, priced $39.99. It contains an extensively tweaked version of the original game, complete with all previous DLC, as well as various pieces of new content, most notably an entirely new island with new quests and enemies. Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen will arrive on the European PlayStation Network on Friday, 26 April, priced £19.99/€29.99. An Xbox Live version is confirmed, but still no release date.

In terms of new content, here’s what you can expect:

  • New quests in an Underworld Dungeon located on Bitterblack Isle
  • New enemies, including Death, Prisoner Cyclops, and Greater Goblin (see the two enemy videos below for more)
  • Level 3 skill tier, offering new abilities and skills
  • 100 pieces of new equipment
  • New high level weapons and armour sets
  • 14 new Arisen/Pawn augments 
  • Additional tier of equipment enhancement
  • Increased character customization

Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3: Hello Kitty and Swimsuit DLC out now

New DLC costumes for the ladies on Xbox Live now, PSN to follow

Update: Both these packs are out now on the EU PS Store. The Hello Kitty pack is priced £2.39/€2.99, and the Swimsuit Pack costs £1.59/€1.99

Looks like the scheduled Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 DLC Hello Kitty costume for Sakura has arrived earlier than expected on Xbox Live – we thought it was coming tomorrow, but it’s already up on the Marketplace, priced 240MSP (£2.06/€2.88/$3). There’s no sign of it on the EU PSN, so we’re still expecting it to appear tomorrow, 24 April, as scheduled.

Also taking us by surprise is a new Swimsuit Pack, which is up on the Xbox Live Marketplace now, priced 160MSP (£1.37/€1.92/$2). Gears of War: Judgment DLC Call to Arms revealed – release date, price

The second Gears of War: Judgment map pack DLC, Call to Arms, has been announced and will be available for Gears of War: Judgment Season Pass holders on Xbox Live from 23 April. It will release for regular, non-Season Pass holders on 30 April, priced 1000MSP (£8.57/€12/$12.50).

At a glance, the pack contains:

  • 3 new multiplayer maps: Terminal, Blood Drive, Boneyard
  • New multiplayer mode: Master At Arms
  • 6 Armour and gun skins for customising characters and weapons
  • 10 new Achievements worth 250 Gamerscore

Injustice: Gods Among Us DLC Season Pass out today on XBL and PSN

Full game also available on PS Store, first DLC character confirmed

The DC Comics heroes and villains fighter, Injustice: Gods Among Us, releases in Europe today, and the game’s DLC Season Pass will be available to purchase on both the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live, priced £11.99 ($14.99), or 1200MSP (£10/€14/$15) respectively. The Season Pass is already available in the US.

The Season Pass gives access to four of the game’s scheduled character packs for the price of three, and to the Flash Point Skin Pack, which is available now and contains alternate costumes for Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Deathstroke. DC Comics anti-hero Lobo was recently confirmed by Injustice developer NetherRealm as the first DLC character, although no release date has been given.

In addition to the Season Pass, the full game is available to download now from the PlayStation Store. It’s priced £47.99/€59.99 and the file size comes in at just under 9GB.…

However, the ability to play ALL existing Xbox 360 games will come at the expense of not being able to play any new ‘next-generation’ games on the machine. It’s also rumoured the console will have the same specs as the existing Xbox 360, will look exactly the same, and will be called Xbox 360.

Black Ops 2 Uprising DLC out today – 4 new maps, Mob of the Dead zombies

The Black Ops 2 ‘Uprising’ DLC arrives today on Xbox Live, priced 1200MSP (£10.28/€14.40/$15), or at no extra cost if you’re a Black Ops 2 Season Pass holder. The second of four scheduled Black Ops 2 map pack add-ons, Uprising contains four new maps – Magma, Encore, Vertigo, and Studio – as well as a new ‘Mob of the Dead’ zombie mode.

Gears of War: Judgment DLC Call to Arms out today for VIP Pass holders

New map pack and multiplayer mode comes to Xbox Live for those who paid in advance

The first of two Gears of War: Judgment add-ons, Call to Arms, arrives today on Xbox Live for anyone who purchased the VIP Season Pass. The DLC will be available for download to everyone else (i.e. those without the VIP Pass) on 30 April, priced 1000MSP (£8.57/€12/$12.50).

Announced last week, Call to Arms provides three new multiplayer maps, a new multiplayer mode, armour and gun skins to customise characters and weapons, and 10 new Achievements worth 250 Gamerscore points. You can find full details and images of each of the new maps here.
