Iwata compares this to making a whole new game

Big news, Wii U fans. It seems Nintendo are getting to grips with downloadable content after all, which is signalled by this massive announcement about New Super Luigi U – a huge expansion for New Super Mario Bros. During the Nintendo Direct conference,  Mr President, Satoru Iwata, even compared the size of this Luigi-driven DLC to that of a new game, so expect a whopper.

A release date has yet to be confirmed, but Nintendo hinted that the lengthy development time means it won’t be on the eShop until later in 2013. Damn. But hopefully, the wait should be worth it as all-new levels will be packed into this sizable expansion.…

With the release of Grand Theft Auto Five a fast approaching distant memory, we turn our attention to Grand Theft Auto 6. Here’s a list of things we know about Grand Theft Auto VI.

1. The release date of GTA 6 could be anytime really. Although it will have to be long enough after the release of GTA V to give controversial developer Rockstar enough time to make the game.

2. Grand Theft Auto 6 will have a main character or characters that players will have to play as if they want to play the game. The main character/characters will be male and/or female.

3. The graphics will be the best Grand Theft Auto graphics yet. And so will things like the artificial intelligence and physics.

4. Before the game is released, controversial GTA developer Rockstar will release some promotional trailers to promote GTA 6. The first trailer won’t give much away but subsequent ones will give away a bit …

Fairly Inoffensive Trash Talking Thatʼs Pretty Funny Actually

Most trash talking is likely to offend as it’s very offensive. That’s the point. But some trash talking is fairly inoffensive and pretty funny actually. We like that sort of trash talking. This is some of our favourite examples of fairly inoffensive trash talking that’s pretty funny actually. They are all 100% for real and mostly heard during various Call of Duty multiplayer matches.

That price is superb for an open-world game that delivers a ton of stuff to do at every turn. Jet fighter dogfights, combat dildo duels in the middle of the street and missions that include taking tiger for a spin in a convertible.

There’s a plot in there somewhere, but even though we’ve finished it we’d be hard pressed to explain anything without taking a trip to Wikipedia. But our point is that Saints Row: The Third is full of distractions to entertain you for hours. Get it.

GTA IV: The Lost and Damned DLC Review

A brutal bike ride built for you

C’mon, give us a little smile, Mr Klebitz. We know Niko is a tad miserable, but GTA IV’s amoral immigrant might as well have been sprouting candy and rainbows from his face when you compare him to The Lost & Damned’s lead biker. Johnny’s overall demeanour is fitting for this slice of DLC as it’s relentlessly bleak. Thankfully, it‘s also ferociously fun in patches.

The leader of Liberty City’s infamous The Lost crew, Klebitz and the rest of his posse of burnt-out bikers spend most of their time bombing about on choppers, arm wrestling and taking nefarious missions from the city’s cast of criminal players. An expansion that focuses on a motorcycle gang wouldn’t be much crack if The Lost’s rides didn’t handle convincingly. So it’s a relief then that the array of hogs will make you squeal with two-wheeled delight.

Compared to the puny bikes seen in the main game, The Lost …

Treyarch’s new maps and modes deliver the good times

Skate or die!

When you’re in charge of the biggest entertainment release of all time, and a large chunk of your audience have already paid for four DLC packs with a heftily-priced season pass, there’s an enormous level of expectations about what you’ll deliver next.

The answer for Treyarch and Black Ops 2 is Revolution. The trailer claims you have a responsibility to ‘kick ass’ – and we can honestly say that this statement aptly describes the DLC – it does kick ass.

Revolution features four new multiplayer maps, a zombie map, a new ‘Turned’ mode and a, first for the series, a new gun. More on these later. There’s a lot of variety for your money, let us break it down for you…

Grind

The first new map is an American skatepark. It’s a medium sized arena, which feels like Stadium from the original Black Ops, but plays with more …
