Amaze-O-Tron Podcast: Episode 2 – Still No Name

We’re coming in your ears again

Well, hello there. How are you on this fine day? Excellent. Anyway, enough chit-chat as we need to tell you that we have a new episode of the podcast for you to listen to. If you’re into semi-coherent ramblings about games then you’ve come to the right place.

This week we talk about how DLCentral and Shoot The Barrel came to be and give you a little insight into what we’ve been playing lately. In all seriousness, we still don’t have a name for this podcast/audio show thing so if you have any brilliant ideas for what we should call it fire them to The Boss. The best one will be chosen for the next show. Maybe.

Enough jibber-jabber, get plugged in and give it a listen.…

Max Payne 3 Deathmatch Made in Heaven DLC Review

Max’s final fling proves you can teach an old dog new tricks

Although previous DLC showcases new maps, factions, and weapons like the powerful UAR-21 assault rifle, Deathmatch Made in Heaven offers up something a little bit different for this finale – new modes for online and offline.  Before we break down the modes for you, let’s look at the new weapons.

Rockstar has plumped for an array of close-range and melee weapons. A night-stick, stun-gun, pepper spray, and even an electrifying cattle prod are here to wield and they introduce a new dynamic to online battles.

Using the tables for cover you gun the lot of them down, and thus begins Shepard’s last hurrah. It’s not all run-and gun though as you’ll face some puzzles built around a casino heist. Not only does this add variety, but it shows that BioWare really want to …
