Saints Row 4 will be be bigger than ever, DLC plans pencilled in

PAX East interview reveals the lofty plans in place at Volition

During a couple of interviews withĀ DestructoidĀ at PAX East, Volition has confirmed that Saints Row 4 will haveĀ ā€˜a fuckton more content’ than the previous game and a ā€˜robust DLC planā€˜ is already in the works.

Saints Row 4′s creative director, Steve Jaros says the main campaign is about the same as Saints Row 3 – which is a good 15 hours, if our memories serve us correct. But in terms of open world stuff to do, Jaros says ā€œThere’s a fuckton more. Way more. It’s absurdā€.Ā He also claims that ā€˜fans aren’t readyā€˜ for the amount of stuff they’re putting in and that one side mission he started lasted a whopping four hours, because it sucked him in that much. Big words.

Jaros’ comments arrived after a tiny storm in an espresso cup was created when senior producer, Jim Boone confirmed ā€˜a very

Borderlands 2 Bunkers and Badasses DLC announced

Tiny Tina driven expansion is on the way

To close out their PAX East conference, and following theirĀ new character announcement, Gearbox Software dropped a trailer, which seems to confirm some new DLC for Borderlands 2. The teaser for Bunkers & Badasses – depicted as a sort of Dungeon’s & Dragons (think about it) board game in the video below – seems to suggest a) this is the first story expansion to drop outside of the Season Pass stuff and b) a new game mode is coming. Take a look…

Cheers for the videoĀ IGN.

We can’t really see Bunkers & Badasses being a huge departure from the same gun-totin’ RPG mechanics of Borderlands 2, but a fresh new mode certainly gives us a fizz around the groin area. Especially if it’s some sort of twist on a turn-based strategy – a game within a game, if you will.

Regardless, we’ll bring you the news right here on DLCentral as …

Borderlands 2′s new DLC has a release date, a new playable Psycho awaits

YAAAAS! Gearbox has finally announced new DLC for Borderlands 2 that drops on April 2nd. The update has been announced at PAX East in Boston and will introduce a load of new stuff for fans to play with including an increased level cap. Season Pass owners can breathe a sigh of relief as the new DLC is free to them, but will cost everyone else $5 (around Ā£5/€6) but it also comes with some other goodies such as…

  • Level cap increase – So if you’ve maxed out at 50 you can now grind your way to level 61
  • Pearlescent weapon class – The ultra-rare guns and ammo from the original Borderlands will certainly mix things up a bit
  • Ultimate Vault Hunter mode Ā – this is a free update for all and will make all enemies as tough as the hardest member of your team. Yikes

No date has been set for this guy’s debut yet, but sadly, this sixth characterĀ …
