Amaze-O-Tron Podcast: Episode 12 – Dodgy Save

Back amongst it. After a rather extended break, Cundy and Nathan are back in the podcast saddles to deliver you their unique mix of gaming news spliced with the occasional indecipherable noise.

It’s packed with GamesCom news, community bits where your questions are answered and the usual site update business. There’s even a top tip for cooking sausages if you find yourself on a campsite with nothing but frankfurters and a flask for company.

As the men mention on the podcast, we now have a sparkly new Google+ page. So come on in and watch us flail around as we decide what to do with it.

Anyway, give this a listen. Enjoy.…

Amaze-O-Tron Podcast: Episode 7 – Hedge Wizards

Weekly earful of game talk and additional random nonsense

Prepare thine ears puny earthlings for the all new and not recorded in front of a live studio audience Amaze-O-Tron Podcast. It is Episode the Seventh, which means it is MAGNIFICENT so you must listen to it you lovely bastards.

This week’s highlights include your daringly self-employed hosts Cundy and Nathan talking about games like the Tomb Raider (is it really a Tomb Raider?), and Motocross Madness (it got bikes in it). There’s a super big booty community section in which YOU ask the questions and we sort of wibble in response and try to remember the name of Christopher Walken. Then there’s a quick-fire and really very exciting ‘Is it a real game?’ quiz to play along with.

Goodness us, with all that stuff to get through it’s no wonder this week’s Amaze-O-Tron is the most longest Amaze-O-Tron ever. Best get listening to it now or else you might die …

The boys are back on the airwaves with audiological feast of gaming chatter, industry insight and impromptu musical interludes. Amaze-O-Tron Podcast: Episode 4 – Mystery Box

Plug us in

Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! The podcast bell is rattling off it’s fixings to let you all know that a brand new episode of Amaze-o-tron is available for your lugholes.

This week Cundy introduces us to possibly the strangest instrument we’ve ever seen. It looks like something a hobo would play to while away the blues with all his hobo mates. There’s more of a structure in place too with the all-new community section, but it doesn’t get in the way of the ramblings. And Nathan tells us why PS2 God of Wars are better than the recent Ascension.

There’s loads more crammed in to this week’s episode, so sit back, relax and let Cundy and Nathan pour sweet madness into your ears.…

Amaze-O-Tron Podcast: Episode 3 – New name, same old madness

Fans of last week’s ukulele interludes will be sad to hear that the instrument didn’t make the cut in this episode. But fear not, as Cundy has brought the largest keyboard this side of a Jean Michel Jarre concert and it’s packed with various noises.

As the men find their feet with this indie podcast thing, they decide to trial a few new things in this third episode, which are mostly ‘excellent’. But <cough> you’ll be the judge of that, right? When you get to the bit where they play a game, click to check out Shoot The Barrel’s new regular, Sick as a XBLIG, to see what they’re talking about. It’s like an interactive adventure.

Most importantly, there’s a new name for the podcast as you can see above. Give yourselves a pat on the back, and maybe a little arse pinch, for helping us come up with it. And don’t forget to hit the link below the podcast …

Amaze-O-Tron Podcast: Episode 2 – Still No Name

We’re coming in your ears again

Well, hello there. How are you on this fine day? Excellent. Anyway, enough chit-chat as we need to tell you that we have a new episode of the podcast for you to listen to. If you’re into semi-coherent ramblings about games then you’ve come to the right place.

This week we talk about how DLCentral and Shoot The Barrel came to be and give you a little insight into what we’ve been playing lately. In all seriousness, we still don’t have a name for this podcast/audio show thing so if you have any brilliant ideas for what we should call it fire them to The Boss. The best one will be chosen for the next show. Maybe.

Enough jibber-jabber, get plugged in and give it a listen.…

Amaze-O-Tron Podcast: Episode 1 – The Pilot

Open your ears and let us in

Right then, Cundy and Nathan have gone and done one of them podcast things. The results can be heard below, but just so you know – and as the title implies – it’s just a little taster for y’all.

If anything, it was only to test to see if the iPad was capable of recording with decent enough quality, which thankfully it does. There’s no fancy studio for the men that produced the GamesRadar UK podcast this time, you see, but they ramble on regardless.

After this podcast – which still doesn’t have a name – we’ll aim to have a new show every fortnight. The contents are still undecided, but will most likely be about video games rather than, say, films or canasta. So go, have fun listening to this debut and let us know what you think via our Twitson. Enjoy.…
